As a Legal Technology Associate, you will play a pivotal role in the intersection between law and technology. You will work on the Risk and Legal Solution Team and be responsible for supporting the technical solutions of all legal systems, including identification, evaluation, implementation, and management of changes. You will work on a variety of systems, including contract management, claim matter management, e-discovery/legal hold, risk, and financial systems. You will have the opportunity to make a significant positive impact by leveraging your shared passions in law and technology, acting as a liaison between the legal and risk IT solution vendors, KONE IT, and the Legal department.

This is a HYBRID Role; Work Schedule to be Determined by Hiring Manager.

Responsibilities:

  • Vendor Management - Liaison between vendors, KONE Global and North American IT Teams, KONE's Microsoft Office 365 Team, Legal Team, and any other stakeholders. Maintain and manage solution design documentation for several legal solutions. Single point of contact for a variety of Legal Software and Analytics solutions. Primarily but not limited to CobbleStone (ECMS), Remedy Force, Legal Hold Pro Exterro, ServiceNow, and Zapproved.  Support the management of the Service Level Agreements (SLAs) to which the service provider is bound to ensure SLAs are met or corrective action taken.

  • Contract Management Software Lead – Investigate and resolve level 2 service tickets withing ECMS regarding workflow errors, dashboard designs, and workflow optimization. Work with level 1 support team to ensure ticket response is meeting front line expectations.

  • Technical Solution Support - Work with other IT groups to ensure stable and sustainable software integrations with third party vendors such as Workday, Salesforce, Office 365, and many others. Validate that processes and procedures facilitate the appropriate retention and legal discovery of company records.

  • Analytics and Reporting – Provide weekly reporting support on a variety of Law Department scorecard metrics and creation and maintenance of Power BI dashboards.

  • Continuous Improvement – Using automation tools such as Microsoft Power Automate; provide opportunities for workflow optimization within the Law Department. Support team in the implementation of AI software within legal workflows

  • Additional duties may be required by leadership.

Required Skills & Abilities:

  • ​Strong written and oral communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 

  • Experience working with a broad range of stakeholders, including Sr. executives and business teams preferred.

Education Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Technology related Discipline

- At least 2 years' experience in IT support or a related field.

- 1+ year of SaaS implementation experience.

- Proficient in Microsoft Power Automate.

- Familiarity with Legal Programs such as Exterro,

- ZApproved, ECMS, and/or Remedy Force is a plus.

- English required
