Role Summary
PMO Squad Staffing is seeking a Project Manager for a contract opportunity with our Corporate Services client. This person will be responsible for coordinating and supporting a portfolio of projects across the client's organization - including organizational change initiatives, new technology implementations, workflow improvements, and acquisition integrations - with some being transformative in scope and high-visibility.
While not directly responsible for delivering project outcomes, the Project Manager will enable success by ensuring teams remain on track and obstacles are surfaced for timely resolution.

Position: Contract, 6 months (potential for contract-to-hire)
Location: Remote or Hybrid
Pay: $50-$60/hr. DOE

Core Responsibilities
Project Coordination & Delivery
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and reporting templates.
- Facilitate meetings, capture outcomes, and follow up on action items.
- Ensure clarity of responsibilities and dependencies across teams.
- Track progress and flag risks, issues, or blockers for escalation.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Act as the coordination hub between project sponsors, business stakeholders, and delivery teams.
- Communicate progress consistently and transparently.
- Balance competing priorities by aligning stakeholders to shared outcomes.
Risk & Issue Management
- Identify risks early and ensure mitigation strategies are in place.
- Surface blockers promptly for sponsor or leadership resolution.
- Maintain documentation to track risks, issues, and resolution status.
Continuous Improvement
- Capture lessons learned and share best practices across projects.
- Recommend process improvements to enhance coordination efficiency.
- Support change adoption through clear communication and team engagement.

Success requires a 70% focus on stakeholder engagement and alignment, and a 30% focus on applying technical/domain knowledge to ensure solutions are practical and sustainable. Qualifications
- 3+ years of professional project management experience across varied initiatives (business process, technology, or systems integrations).
- Bachelor's degree in business, Information Systems, or related field (equivalent experience considered in lieu of degree).
- PMP certification required.
- Strong facilitation, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.
- Familiarity with project management methodologies (PMI, Scrum, PRINCE2, Agile).
- Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Asana, Azure DevOps).
