Food and Beverage Administrative Assistant

Job Summary:
Assists the Food and Beverage department with administrative tasks. Assists to capture and analyze data used by management to control operating and labor costs.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Perform various non-routine, often complex clerical functions, requiring special training, skill or knowledge
- Direct preparation of records such as agenda, notices, and minutes for meetings; prepare confidential correspondence, reports, and other documents
- Establish and maintain files of appropriate reports, records or other information relevant to the operation of the department
- Maintain appropriate records as may be required by law or policy to include, but not limited to, training logs, payroll, shift reports, and other pertinent records
- Maintain contact with other departments and various outside contacts
- Create and maintain database and spreadsheet files related to operating costs
- Ensure customer concerns and complaints are administered through the appropriate processes
- Establish and maintain a system for tracking Food Handler & ABC certifications, including training completion dates, provider information, and expiration dates.
- Maintains a constant awareness of safety and accident prevention, performing all job duties in the safest possible manner, and immediately notifying the supervisor and completing an accident report if a personal accident does occur.
- Ensures that all Team Members are treated in a fair and consistent manner.
- Performs any other duties as specified or assigned by the Director or any member of the Executive Management.
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:
- High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
- One or more years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Must have experience with Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Certifications, Licenses, and/or Registrations:
- Gaming license/registration as required by jurisdiction(s).
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Ability to successfully fulfill the pre-employment process
- Ability to obtain and maintain all necessary licensing
- Able to interact with others while maintaining a positive and courteous demeanor under frequently fast paced work conditions
- Ability to communicate with Team members and guests
- Must possess outstanding interpersonal communications skills to effectively interface with guests and team members
- Ability to work flexible shifts and days of the week, including holidays.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Ability to work in an environment with moderate to loud noise, bright lights, smoke, and dust.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
- Regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms; talk, see and hear
