We are looking for a Quality Manager. The Quality Manager manages the operations of the Quality Assurance Department. The manager accomplishes this by developing and maintaining quality systems to prevent failures and deficiencies in our products and processes. Also, the manager will ensure compliance of products with quality requirements and identify opportunities for quality and productivity improvements, developing strategies to optimize products, services and processes. Maintains ISO/QS certifications.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  • Ensure compliance with applicable industry quality standards.
  • Perform Advance Quality Planning
  • Utilize appropriate statistical methods/techniques.
  • Identify customer requirements and translate them into product/service/process specifications.
  • Ensure that the knowledge necessary to implement quality systems is integrated throughout the organization.
  • Measure the effectiveness of established quality systems.
  • Ensure control and capability of processes.
  • Lead quality system audits. Perform analyses of existing data.
  • Develop action plans for improving products, services and processes and ensure the implementation of such plans.
  • Perform benchmarking activities and ensure integration of best practices throughout the organization.
  • Develop subordinates skills and evaluate their job performance.

 

EDUCATION: 4 year technical degree, or American Society for Quality certification as CQE (Certified Quality Engineer) and CQM (Certified Quality Manager) or Certified Reliability Engineer); or 5 years minimum industry experience and certification as CQE (Certified Quality Engineer) with commitment to obtain CQM (Certified Quality Manager) with 1 year.

 

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:       

                                                                                         

  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.  Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.  Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
  • Ability to apply advanced mathematical concepts such as exponents, logarithms, quadratic equations, and permutations.  Ability to apply mathematical operations to such tasks as frequency distribution, determination of test reliability and validity, analysis of variance, correlation techniques, sampling theory, and factor analysis.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions and solve problems in a variety of standard and non-standard situations. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables 
  • Knowledge of Accounting software; Database software; Internet software; Inventory software; Payroll systems; Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software.
  • CQA (Certified Quality Auditor) or RAB Lead Assessor Training                                               
  • Knowledge of Manufacturing Systems/Processes/Techniques
