Company Description

The New York Red Bulls Freestyle Crew works directly with the Field Marketing department during the execution of all off-site events and match day BULLevard activations. A freestyler is someone who demonstrates advanced freestyle soccer skills, including but not limited to juggling, ball control, and creative trick sequences. This position is directly involved in the execution of engagement opportunities with fans and new consumers. You will be responsible for engaging audiences with your impressive soccer tricks, showcasing your ability to juggle a soccer ball with ease, and communicating with diverse crowds to create an entertaining and memorable experience. The New York Red Bulls Freestyle Crew schedule is driven primarily by the MLS season schedule and off-site Field Marketing initiatives. Regular and consistent commitment to events throughout the year is expected.

Job Description

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform techniques with a soccer ball (including juggling) in front of large crowds. You are adaptable to different areas/spaces and are able to adjust routines as needed to accommodate varying environments and audience sizes.
• Encourage audience participation through crowd interaction and the occasional inviting of volunteers to join in simple activities. You are someone who loves to interact with a variety of audiences, ranging from children to adults, ensuring an inclusive and enjoyable experience for everyone.
• Plan and execute freestyle soccer routines suitable for different events and venues. Collaboration is important to you, and you work well with event organizers to ensure seamless integration of your performance into the overall event.
• Highest level of customer service to all fans visiting Red Bull Arena on match days. You are recognized as a club-to-fan representative for all New York Red Bulls marketing activation events.

Qualifications

Associate degree or higher

Have a strong passion for soccer and freestyling Must be flexible and able to commit to a significant portion of the New York Red Bulls events schedule throughout calendar year

Possess a strong work ethic, have a leadership approach and is a self-starter

Work well in fast paced environments

Comfortable multi-tasking and following strict timelines

Demonstrate a passion for working as part of team and specifically with the New York Red Bulls
