Responsibilities:

Design digital user interfaces for internal Autodesk dashboards and platforms. Develop and test layouts, interfaces, functionality, and navigation menus to ensure compatibility and usability across browsers and devices. Analyze datasets to design and create data visualizations for internal Autodesk dashboards and platforms. Create visualization in BI tools like Looker.com. Create custom visualization with tools like D3.js or Highcharts. Design, Architect and Develop Web application using JavaScript frameworks and libraries (ReactJS). Create motion graphics and transition animations to enrich the interaction and user-experience. Architect and develop secure and efficient APIs using NodeJS. Craft User Interfaces for delightful User Experiences. Connect UI applications to 3rd party and ADSK internal APIs. Help with landing requirements for new dashboards, web apps and visualizations. Understanding of the AWS ecosystem and its concepts to make decisions and drive internal certifications/reviews. Managing infrastructure as code. Conduct Security Reviews and achieve certifications for data products. Seek input from stakeholders about UI design proposals.  Maintain documentation and runbooks for UI applications. Design and implement standard build and release processes for UI applications and components. Some telecommuting is permitted.

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Interaction Design or related field followed by 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or in an user experience-related occupation. Some telecommuting is permitted.

Skill Requirements:

Position requires at least 5 years of experience in each of the following skills:

  • Assess and then design Data Visualization solutions to simplify data analysis.

  • Create Data Visualization solutions using web technologies such as D3.js and Highcharts, and BI tools such as Looker and Power BI. Design Web and Mobile user interfaces, from concept to final asset creation/optimization using software such as Balsamiq, SketchApp, Figma, Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.

  • Build Web UI from scratch using semantic and performance optimized HTML and CSS, or any technology other that has them as output.

  • Architect and build web applications using modern JavaScript libraries such as ReactJS, including end-to-end testing

  • Architect and build APIs using JavaScript/nodeJS

  • Architect, build and maintain infrastructure for running web applications optimized for performance and cost efficiency on platforms such as AWS.

  • Architect, build and maintain CICD pipelines for continuous automated testing and software delivery.

  • Build and maintain infrastructure as code (IAC) suing tools such as AWS Cloud formation or Terraform.

Salary transparency  

Salary is one part of Autodesk’s competitive compensation package. For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $165,000 - $185,000/year. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location. In addition to base salaries, we also have a significant emphasis on annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
