About the role

The Citi Treasury Investments group (CTI) manages a portfolio consisting of Issued Debt, Intercompany Borrowings & Placements, AFS/HTM Securities, and Derivatives. CTI is responsible for managing central liquidity and investment portfolio, executing multiple hedge programs, providing US dollar financing to other trading desk, and management of the USD interest rate risk in banking book.  The goal is to achieve Citi’s desired net interest position, by issuance of benchmark debt and structured notes, credit card securitizations and perform liability management for all capital securities issued through Citigroup and CBNA.


The CTI Business Execution team works closely with stakeholders in CTI to define, drive, and execute end-to-end process design and implementation efforts across Treasury activities, which span global Treasury groups, Finance and Risk functions, Technology teams, and numerous businesses who work in partnership with Treasury.  The team works to identify priorities, coordinate efforts, track progress, and define and implement best practices.  


This senior role in the CTI Business Execution team will drive Regulatory Consent Order technical platform Simplification and Modernization commitments and will lead implementation of the technical and operational framework required to support the expansion of CTI’s critical hedge programs.
The role will be responsible for ensuring strict adherence to regulatory requirements and enterprise governance frameworks, in collaboration with a team of cross- functional partners.


Responsibilities:
•    Lead program delivery for CTI’s Consent order book of work committed in the simplification/modernization, and standardization plans.
•    Drive platform alignment and solution delivery for all aspects of large portfolio migrations with significant financial reporting impacts.   
•    Lead enterprise-wide solution design & delivery of hedge accounting service to continue optimization of Citi’s balance sheet management strategy globally. 
•    Lead CTI business unit managers, CTI trading desks, Product Control, Risk and Operations to understand the key business problems while partnering with Technology to identify best-in-class, sustainable solutions
•    Partner with other firmwide regulatory initiatives and functions with common or intersecting scope & objectives to ensure appropriate synergies are identified, with maximization of efficiency and effectiveness benefits for CTI.
•    Manage resourcing requirements across these Consent order commitments, ensuring appropriate staffing and organizational structures are in place for execution
•    Manage team’s delivery schedule, overseeing development of key project documentation including Project Charters, BRDs, and Test Plans and overall project execution
•    Mentor and develop team members, promoting professional growth and continuous learning

Qualifications:
•    Minimum bachelor’s Degree required.  
•    10 years of experience within financial services or consulting. 
•     5+ years of experience within project management and the software delivery lifecycle (SDLC)
•    Experience with large scale trade migrations 
•    Adept at managing through complexities of regulatory related commitments
•    Proven track record of applying technical solutions to complex business problems
•    Must be a strong influencer and have partnering skills
•    Sound understanding of a bank’s balance sheet
