Role and Responsibilities

• Partner alongside Jasper’s cancer care coaches to conduct video-based mental health assessments to evaluate and support patients living with cancer 
• Perform comprehensive mental health evaluations, gathering patient medical data, including health history and mental status examination findings.
• Collaborate with Jasper’s coaching and product development teams to support the development of engaging emotional wellness content for Jasper members 
• Develop and implement personalized behavioral health treatment plans, regularly assessing progress and providing evidence-based therapeutic support to patients.
• Maintain accurate and sensitive patient records, including examination results, medical history, and reports.
• Demonstrate a passion for Jasper’s  mission of improving global health through compassionate care and innovative practices.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required

• Hold a Doctoral degree (PhD or PsyD) from an APA-accredited Psychology Program.
• Experience working with oncology patients and their families 
• Psypact licensure or the ability to obtain psypact license is mandatory for employed status.
• Ability to practice independently without ongoing clinical supervision.
• Ability to obtain additional state licenses as required.
• A minimum of 1+ year of unsupervised/post licensure experience post-doctorate credentialing.
• Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
• Commitment to staying up-to-date with continuing education and evidence-based psychosocial interventions.
• Licensure in multiple states and/or psypact licensure is highly valued.

As a remote position, clinicians will deliver their services virtually to patients.
