Reaching these goals requires city agencies to work together with residents, businesses, developers, advocates, funders, and each other. Job Description

Position Summary

The intern will work directly with the Department of Planning and Development’s Communications Department, and will be responsible for various communication tasks which include:

• Social media
• Drafting press releases
• Making presentations
• Drafting talking points
• Blog writing
• Writing for Web
• Writing “how to” instructions
• Editing
• Proofreading
• Learning about PR campaigns

Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program for Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or Mass Media.
