Overview

The Senior Engineer is responsible for designing and developing entire engineering solutions to accomplish business goals. Key responsibilities of this role include ensuring that solutions are well architected, with maintainability and ease of testing built in from the outset, and that they can be integrated successfully into the end-to-end business process flow. You will have gained significant experience through multiple implementations and have begun to develop both depth and breadth in a number of engineering competencies. You should have extensive knowledge of design and architectural patterns. You will provide engineering thought leadership within their teams and will play a role in mentoring and coaching of less experienced engineers.

What You’ll Do 

• Engineer will work in Technology focused team to deliver quality software to business users in Investment Bank

• Develop engineering mindset in the team and be a role model in practicing technology and behavioral values and beliefs

• Have a Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) mindset in rolling out new solutions to production

• Own delivery of product in to production end to end , and actively mentor Engineers in the team

• Be an active member of the friendly, supportive, agile team

Skills You’ll Need 

• Develop Java based Microservices and experience working with reactive non-blocking application programming interface (API), Experience in SRE/DevOps , Monitoring platforms like Grafana/Prometheus , New relic

• Experience in BDD based development and understand the value of code quality and test coverage, Incorporate continuous integration/continuous deployment or development (CI/CD) approach to the development process

• Knowledge and experience developing Java applications and design Experience working with hybrid cloud model (GCP)

• Experience on Application Security and designing and developing Authentication and Authorization using Spring Security and OAuth2

• Experience working with huge data and design low latency systems; Experience working closely with business managers and stakeholder engagement
