As the Director of Marketing Technology for an established and rapidly growing SaaS company, you will own marketing technology management, execution, and reporting. In this technical role, you know how to optimize existing platforms, identify and evaluate new technology, and roll up your sleeves to troubleshoot where needed.  

You are a technically savvy and analytical marketer who knows how integrations should work and webpages should look, and you can write the code where needed to prove it. You pride yourself on finding solutions and creating the best user experiences across digital properties and can manage backend martech for optimal performance and security. 

As a hands-on leader, you can balance technical strategy, analytics, and daily maintenance. While this is currently an individual contributor, the position will evolve into a people manager as you build out the Marketing Technology function and the team around it.   

This position reports to the Head of Demand Generation and is open to interested and qualified candidates across the United States so long as there is a commitment to working eastern United States time zone/business hours.

 

What You'll Do:

  • Establish a best-in-class multi-channel marketing ecosystem.
  • Define and execute a technology roadmap, evaluating and integrating a suite of tools that propel marketing performance, with a focus on marketing advertising and automation platforms and how they integrate with other systems in the Exiger ecosystem. 
  • Manage corporate website development, including building, maintenance, and enhancements, including optimization for search engines, user experience, and conversion. Ensure compliance with privacy laws accessibility standards, and security policies.
  • Lead the charge in measurement and optimization, utilizing testing and analytics to measure and enhance the performance of each tactic, web page, and campaign.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of marketing funnel performance, customer journeys, and lead generation efforts to identify bottlenecks, opportunities, and the impact of marketing on the business.
  • Champion data governance and accuracy, ensuring data compliance with privacy laws and regulations.
  • Manage relationships with agency resources for design, development, and testing.
  • Stay informed on emerging industry trends and best practices in marketing operations to keep the company at the forefront of digital marketing and measurement.

 

What You’ll Bring:

  • Deep expertise in B2B marketing digital strategy.
  • A strong background in marketing analytics, automation, and CRM technologies.
  • Demonstrated experience in the strategic planning and execution of marketing operations initiatives that drive growth.
  • Exceptional analytical and quantitative skills with a knack for turning data into strategies that drive decision-making.

 

What You’ll Need:

  • At least 7 years of experience working in and leading marketing operations.
  • Demonstrated results managing marketing operations initiatives that drive growth.
  • Deep expertise in B2B marketing digital strategy.
  • Superior project management skills with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
  • Admin experience in CMS like WordPress, CRM like Salesforce, marketing automation like Eloqua or HubSpot, intent data platforms like 6Sense, web analytics, and tag manager platforms.
  • Advanced knowledge in business analytics, marketing reporting, data visualization, and attribution modeling.
  • Bachelor’s Degree required; Marketing, Business, or Communications degree preferred.
