Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented  Security Installation Lead  to join our team! In this role you will get to manage a team of physical security professionals in performing maintenance and sustainment of vehicle access barriers, gates, entrapment areas, turnstiles, drop arms, walls, and fencing in accordance with manufacturer specifications and Diplomatic physical security standards. This position is full time OCONUS located in Doha, Qatar.  

 

What You'll Be Doing: 

• Lead and supervise a team of technicians responsible for the maintenance and sustainment of physical security systems. 

• Develop and implement maintenance schedules to ensure all security equipment is operational and compliant with safety and security regulations. 

• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with security systems, coordinating with vendors and manufacturers as necessary. 

• Conduct regular inspections and audits of security equipment to identify and address potential vulnerabilities or malfunctions.  

• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and system upgrades. 

• Provide training and guidance to team members on best practices and new technologies in physical security systems. 

• Collaborate with military and civilian personnel to ensure security protocols are adhered to and to address any security concerns. 

 

What Required Skills You'll Bring: 

• 5-7 years of experience in physical security systems maintenance, installation, or a related field. 

• 3-5 years of experience in a supervisory or lead technician role. 

• Upon sponsorship you must be able to obtain a Qatar ID (QID). 

• Proficiency in the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of physical security systems. 

• Secret Clearance

• Strong understanding of security system integration and network infrastructure. 

 

What Desired Skills You'll Bring: 

• Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, or Security Management. 

• Relevant certifications such as Certified Security Systems Technician (CSST), Certified Protection Professional (CPP), or Physical Security Professional (PSP). 

• Manufacturer-specific certifications for security equipment. 

• Experience working with military or government security systems. 

• Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and effective communication skills.
