About the role
Que Technology Group, Inc., is seeking an experienced Senior Software Test Engineer to support intelligence operations within an exciting organization.

- Analyze system requirements to develop evaluation and test plans and procedures, prepare for and conduct data collection and analysis, and report status and results.
- Support software quality assessment through testing, automation of test procedures, development of test plans, procedures, and traceability matrices, and execution of test events.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, validation, and compliance testing, as well as documenting and verifying software discrepancies and fixes.
- Manage the test team, assign takings, setting priorities, and monitoring progress while providing guidance and support.
- Fifteen years’ experience as a Software Engineer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity is required.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
- DoD 8570 compliance with IAT Level I or higher is required, if COR determines that the position's activities include CWIP activities.
- Five years of additional SWE experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Collaborating with the test team to create test scenarios and cases that cover all functionalities and requirements.
- Ensuring the quality and consistency of test artifacts like test cases, scripts, and data.
- Consolidating and analyzing findings to prepare comprehensive test reports.
- Experience with software development methodologies
- Familiar with using Confluence and Jira
- Automating test activities and processes using automated test tools
- Collaborating with software development teams to understand requirements and implementation for effective testing
- Supporting Agile software development processes
- Evaluating the effectiveness, quality, and performance of software applications
- Identifying, troubleshooting, and documenting system defects
- Creating standard test artifacts, including test strategies, plans, traceability matrices, procedures, and reports
- Evaluating web-based GUIs and API endpoints against defined requirements
- Preparing and presenting results during Test Readiness Reviews prior to each deployment cycle
- TS/SCI clearance with polygraph
