You Are:
The Cybersecurity Incident Response Team Lead Senior Manager role will work in the CIRT team in the CISO organization. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced lead to oversee our Dedicated Project Response Team. This role is instrumental in managing cybersecurity incident response for project-based AFS managed systems. The ideal candidate will be a seasoned leader with a deep understanding of cybersecurity, incident response, and project management.
The Work:
- Lead and Manage CDPRT, ensuring effective incident response to project-based cybersecurity incidents on project-managed AFS systems
- Develop and implement incident response strategies and procedures specific to project-managed AFS systems. This will include compiling a) available data on potential environments and POCs for project and environments and b) triage procedures and Job Aids for the rapid response team
- Coordinate with other Cybersecurity Incident Response sub-teams to ensure a cohesive response strategy, including surge and SME support as needed for other teams
- Mentor and train team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement
- Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to align cybersecurity efforts with project objective
- Regularly review and report on team performance and incident response outcomes
Here's What You Need:
- Bachelors Degree or 10 years of industry experience
- Experience with Information security, Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) solutions
- Experience performing event and log analysis including one or more of the following:
- Anti-Virus, Intrusion Detection Systems, Firewalls, Active Directory, Web Proxies, Data loss prevention tools and/or other security tools found in large enterprise network environments
- Familiarity with various network and host-based security applications and tools, such as network and host assessment/scanning tools, network and host-based intrusion detection systems, and other security software packages
- Basic understanding of one or more of the following:
- TCP/IP and common application layer protocols, Packet & Malware Analysis, Indicators of Attack and Compromise, Detection Design & Engineering to Tune Signatures, Windows / Linux Architecture, and/or Basic data parsing (Excel, grep, sed, awk, regex)
- Minimal Travel to Client Site
Bonus Points If:
- Advanced Degree
- 15+ years of industry experience
- SANs GIAC Certifications including but not limited to GCED, GCLD, GCIH, GCFA, GREM;
CISSP - Excellent communication (written and oral), attention to detail and interpersonal skills
- Experience presenting complex technical information to decision makers and leading them through the decision making process
- Work independently to deliver timely solutions without direct supervision

The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set and level of experience.
