PRN MA Treatment Room

This Medical Assistant opportunity is PRN - if you like the variety of working with different physicians and their staff, we want to meet you. Our locations are Medical Center, Sonterra and Boerne. Ideal candidates will be certified from an accredited school and have prior experience providing triage for patients being seen by physicians as well as back office operations experience.

Our Medical Assistants have the following skills and responsibilities,

• Outstanding Phone Communication skills with patients, referring physician offices and ancillary services

• Scheduling and coordination with different departments

• Demonstrate quality patient care and service

• Advocate and follow through with all patient issues

• Blood Draws

• EMR-Computer Skills

• Injections

• Must be able to perform catherizations

• Central Line Access (Medi Port and PICC line)

• Familiarity with precertification and referral processes

• Outstanding patient services skills as a previous Medical Assistant

• Positive job tenure reflecting several years (not months) with previous employer(s)

• Reliable attendance and good professional references as a Medical Assistant or in other roles
