Hiring Now – Immediate need for new Team Members
American Building Supply (ABS), a subsidiary of Jeld Wen, and one of the Nation’s largest wholesale suppliers of Doors, Door Hardware, Windows, and Millwork, currently has a position available for Inventory Control Coordinator to assist our Distribution Division in providing value-added goods and services to our customers.
JELD-WEN is one of the world’s largest door and window manufacturers, with more than 22,000 employees operating in 24 countries globally. Headquartered in Charlotte, North Carolina, JELD-WEN designs, produces and distributes an extensive range of interior and exterior doors, wood, vinyl and aluminum windows.
Successful candidate(s) may perform any of the following duties:
- Responsible for accurately maintaining detailed records of inventory, including: physical inventory, orders, transfers and cycle counts
- Performs appropriate adjustments on inventory levels
- Ability to critically think and research discrepancies, as it relates to inventory levels
- Reconcile quantity discrepancies between stock and record
- Develops, recommends, and implements new processes and procedures when necessary
- Works with warehouse leadership to ensure procedures are followed, as it relates to inventory used
- Lead teams to perform inventory counts and maintain accurate levels
- Assists with physical inventory
Experience Preferred:
- Previous inventory control experience
- Excellent computer skills, including Word and Excel
- Previous clerical experience in a warehouse/transportation setting
- Leadership capability
Previous experience in a manufacturing or similar environment is preferred, but not required.
