How you’ll be protecting the world:

We are the Scale and Performance Testing Team - the epitome of “jacks of all trades”. Our team focuses on our cloud product with focus on upstream process improvements and adoption of the Agile methodology. We create infrastructures that represent the unique complexities our customers face. And of course, we automate the deployment of such environments as well as write the performance test code in Agile iterations/sprints with seamless integration into CI/CD pipelines. Additionally, in working with the development staff, reviewing and evaluating the test infrastructure, identify gaps and lead the improvement of code coverage and quality of tests will be integral to your role. With opportunities to work with your colleagues and other employees at every level and different parts of the organization, you will also work to develop Scalability and Performance KPIs and measurements. You will be asked to be a test automation engineer, system administrator, database administrator, dev-ops engineering, and a sane person amidst it all. Hard things are what we do, but if you have a "can do" attitude and a thirst to just dig in and figure it out, then you're the right person for the job! 

The ideal Venafi Warrior will be armed with:

• 6-8 years of relevant experience; OR B.S (CS, CSE or equivalent skills
• & knowledge) and 4-6 years of experience; OR M.S/Ph.D. (CS, CSE, or equivalent skills & knowledge) and 2-4 years of experience
• A “get-it-done-now” attitude.
• Strong and proven technical and analytical skills
• A test will be given to assess your skills.
• Solid experience with a variety of Test Automation and Management tools
• Practical experience with Continuous Integration and Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines
• Good knowledge in one or more programming languages
• Fast learner with strong problem solving and analytical skills
• Able to work in a results-driven, highly accountable environment
• Demonstrate ability to lead and multi-task, problem-solve, make decisions and operate in a fast-paced environment
• A collaborator who listens effectively and invites response and discussion.
• Self-motivated, able to work independently and be reliable and responsive
• Highly effective communication skills, including interactive listening with proven ability to negotiate across all levels of the organization
