Job Description
As a member of the America’s Payroll team, we are responsible for processing 5 payrolls in the America’s. We service over 2,100 employees residing in United States, Argentina, Brazil, Canada, and Mexico.
This role will support the function in executing accurate, timely, and compliant payrolls for the above countries. The Senior Payroll Analyst – America’s will be responsible for reconciliations of tax liabilities and other withholding tax in compliance with country regulations. This position will ensure adherence to payroll policies, procedures, and regulations. This position also works closely with the Benefits, Human Resources, and Stock Plan Administration teams in ensuring reporting is compliant and correct.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Owns the payroll process from start to finish, ensuring accurate, timely and compliant processing, delivery, and reconciliation of all payrolls, and adhering to compliance standards
- Collect, maintain, and consolidate payroll data with punctuality. Ensure completeness and accuracy of all records which include new hires, terminations, comp changes, stock income reporting, fringe benefits, benefits in kind, and bonus.
- Manage data integrity across multiple systems.
- Works with the Benefits team in supporting benefits and retirement processing.
- Work with 3rd party provider and global mobility to support employees on international assignment regarding taxes.
- Ongoing identification of operational & regulatory risk, ensuring clear mitigation plans are identified.
- Ensures high value customer service to employees.
- Communicate with external payroll vendors to deliver and control payroll data. Ensure outputs meet company standards. Work with external payroll vendors to ensure seamless delivery of payroll services to employees.
- Prepare and verify necessary documentation, declarations, and reports for several authorities and institutions.
- Address and resolve internal clients' inquiries regarding payroll matters.
- Participate in daily collaboration with HR and Finance Departments to align payroll processes.
- Address and resolve issues related to outsourced payroll services.
- Keep track of deadlines and maintain payroll processes following work regulations, labor law, internal audit process, procedures.
Qualifications
REQUIRED:
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent experience
• Minimum 7 years’ relevant payroll experience processing payroll in America’s.
• Expert knowledge in United States payroll along with expert knowledge with federal, state, and local tax regulations and reporting.
• Experience in developing and enhancing internal process and controls to ensure the payroll function operates effectively and efficiently.
• Familiar with complex HRIS system workflows and integrations
• Working knowledge of a variety of system applications such as Workday HCM, Workday Payroll, Ceridian Dayforce, ADP Celergo, ADP Global View, and various Time and Attendance platforms in a multi-country model.
