Advanced Practitioner (NP/PA)- Electrophysiology Cardiology- Hybrid (Inpatient/Outpatient)

The Medical College of Wisconsin’s Division of Cardiology is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide specialty medical care in Electorphysiology (EP) within the Hybrid (Outpatient & Inpatient) settings.

This position is located at Froedtert Hospital in Milwaukee and Froedtert Hospital Menomonee Falls. The Advanced Practice Provider (APP) works as a member of a multidisciplinary health care team who will contribute to excellence in program administration, patient care, patient safety, research, quality improvement, and teaching.

Schedule:

• Full time, 1.0 fte

• Monday - Friday, 8 am - 5 pm, with occasional additional hours based on business needs

Qualifications: 

Preferred:  

• 2 years' NP or PA experience

• Cardiology experience

• Outpatient, inpatient, adult care, acute care, &/or critical care Cardiology PA, NP, &/or RN experience strongly preferred

• Adult Care or Acute Care NP certification

Minimum Education: 

• Advanced Practice Nurse: Master’s Degree or higher in Nursing from a nationally accredited organization. 

• Physician Assistant: Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Physician Assistant Studies from an ARC-PA-accredited organization. 

Minimum Requirements:

Advanced Practice Nurse/ Advanced Practice Nurse Practitioner                                                         

• Wisconsin RN License  

• Wisconsin Advanced Practice Nurse Prescriber License  

• Certification Requirements:

• Nurse Practitioner Certification from a nationally accredited professional nursing organization

• BLS

• ACLS

• CITI Certification to be completed within 90 days of hire
