IT Procurement & Asset Manager (Onsite - FTL)

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced IT Equipment Procurement Manager to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the procurement and life cycle of IT equipment, ensuring the efficient acquisition, deployment, and maintenance of technology assets within our organization. This role is critical in maintaining a well-equipped and technologically advanced environment that enables our company to meet its operational and strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Procurement: Develop and execute a strategic procurement plan for IT equipment, ensuring alignment with the organization's IT needs and budget.
2. Vendor Management: Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with IT equipment vendors to secure favorable terms, pricing, and service level agreements.
3. Cost Management: Monitor IT equipment budgets, optimize spending, and identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality or functionality.
4. Quality Assurance: Ensure that all procured IT equipment meets the organization's quality and performance standards.
5. Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of IT equipment inventory, track assets, and coordinate the disposal of outdated or redundant equipment.
6. Life Cycle Management: Develop and implement a comprehensive equipment life cycle management plan, including upgrades and replacements.
7. Compliance: Stay informed about relevant regulations and ensure procurement activities comply with legal and ethical standards.
8. Collaboration: Work closely with the IT department to understand their equipment needs and ensure timely procurement to support their projects and initiatives.
9. Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of procurement professionals, setting clear goals and providing guidance to ensure the department's success.
10. Project Management: Work closely with construction for timely delivery of equipment for new site openings.

Qualifications

 *** This is an ONSITE position in our Corporate Headquarters in Fort Lauderdale, FL ***

Proven experience in IT equipment procurement or a related field, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.

· Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships with vendors.

· In-depth knowledge of IT equipment and technology trends.

· Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

· Proficiency in procurement software and tools.

· Strong communication and leadership skills.

· Strong time management skills

· A commitment to maintaining the highest ethical and professional standards.

· Knowledge of Service Now is a plus
