We are seeking a Senior Buyer to join our Interiors team. In this role you will execute processes, standards, and operational plans in support of Procurement goals, including RFPs, negotiations, cost accountability, and/or program execution. Additionally, you will support purchase orders, payments, and responds to client issues to ensure the procurement process goes smoothly.

This is an onsite role and the individual will sit at Collins Aerospace Interiors site in Medley, Florida. 

What You Will Do:

• Manage vendors, and their specific internal processes.

• Support processes, standards, and operational plans in support of Procurement goals, including RFPs, negotiations, cost accountability, and / or program execution.

• Qualify vendors to fulfill account needs.

• Respond to client issues or problems.

• Support purchase orders and payments to ensure the procurement process goes smoothly.

• Analyze and review price proposals, financial reports, and other data and information to provide input on reasonable prices.

• Review request for proposals (RFP) and bid packages.

• Analyze and monitor contract performance to ensure compliance with contractual obligations.

• Support scheduling and purchase orders for the client account or the product family.

• Ensure product is delivered on time, meets quality standards, and at the right cos

• May perform delivery assurance responsibilities.

Qualifications You Must Have:

• Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience.

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future. RTX will not offer sponsorship for this position .

Qualifications We Prefer:

• Prior experience working within the aerospace industry or a manufacturing environment.

• Prior experience working with Supply Chain processes; to include procurement, sourcing, supplier performance.

• Commodity experience with Machine parts and/or plastics is preferred

• Knowledge of Continuous Improvement preferred.

• Excel, Power Point, Project and MRP/ERP (SAP) system experience strongly preferred.
