Sales Operations Specialist

We are seeking to hire a Sales Operations Specialist who is passionate about continuous improvement of the sales process. The person in this role would have the opportunity to work closely with our sales and finance teams to ensure correct reporting and accurate data in Salesforce. What you’ll own:

• Working with Customer Success and sales leadership to continually refine order process for improved sales productivity, integration with finance systems and overall data accuracy
• Training new Customer Success reps on order process and best practices
• Reviewing and validating all customer orders for accuracy and adherence to licensing requirements
• Ensuring customer information quality and accuracy as recorded in Salesforce
• Assisting Finance with ongoing reporting tasks from Salesforce
• Creating reports to analyze and forecast sales
• Working cross-functionally on projects related to systems integration and information use
• Acting as a resource to Customer Success on all aspects of order processing, order management and information quality
• Be a champion for good process, continuously training others and suggesting ways for improvement

About you:

• 2+ years experience with Salesforce.com including reporting and ideally some general administration
• Experience working with a sales and/or customer success group
• Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally and collaborate with team members
• Strong desire for continual process innovation and improving efficiency
• High level of attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
• Comfortable working in a virtual environment either from RStudio’s Boston office, a local shared office space or working from home
• Experience training others to use salesforce a plus
• Salesforce admin training not required but would be a plus
