About the Role
We’re looking for an entrepreneurial and strategic operator who thrives in ambiguity, enjoys building from the ground up, and is motivated by driving measurable impact. As Associate Manager, Product Partnerships – New Verticals, you will lead strategic partnerships that expand DoorDash’s product capabilities, unlock new growth opportunities, and support innovation across emerging categories. You will work closely with Product, Strategy, Operations, Sales, Finance, and external partners to identify high-impact opportunities, shape partnership strategy, execute deals, and help bring new solutions to market.
You will sit on the Product Partnerships & Business Development team and report to the Senior Manager, Product Partnerships & Business Development.
You’re excited about this opportunity because you will…
- Source, evaluate, and manage strategic partnerships that strengthen DoorDash’s New Verticals product ecosystem
- Build relationships with key external partners, lead deal processes, and manage a portfolio of high-impact commercial and integration partnerships
- Help define partnership strategy by assessing market trends, identifying ecosystem gaps, and developing business cases that inform build, buy, or partner decisions
- Own business outcomes by translating data and insights into partnership strategies and operational plans that enable scalable growth
- Influence internal and external stakeholders by advocating for solutions that create value for merchants, partners, and DoorDash
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Sales, Account Management, Operations, Analytics, Marketing, Legal, and Finance to launch and scale partnerships successfully
- Use data to evaluate partner performance, shape recommendations, inform deal terms, and measure impact against key business goals
- Stay close to the evolving technology and partner ecosystem, proactively identifying new trends and opportunities that can strengthen DoorDash’s competitive position
We’re excited about you because…
- You have 5–7 years of experience in an external-facing role across business development, partnerships, strategy, consulting, operations, banking, tech, or a related field
- You have experience supporting or leading business negotiations, including commercial discussions and contract review processes
- You have experience bringing new products, partnerships, or business initiatives to market
- You are persuasive and effective at aligning partners and internal stakeholders around a shared opportunity
- You enjoy working cross-functionally and have a track record of influencing teams to drive outcomes
- You demonstrate strong ownership across multiple projects and workstreams, with the ability to move fluidly between strategy and execution
- You are humble, hungry, and biased toward action, and you are willing to get in the weeds when needed
- You have strong analytical skills and are comfortable using structured thinking and imperfect data to make sound recommendations
- You solve problems from first principles and are energized by tackling complex challenges in strategic and creative ways
- You have a Bachelor’s degree; MBA or Master’s degree is a plus
We expect this position to be filled by 5/25/26.
