Job Description 

We are seeking an energetic and enthusiastic faculty member to teach in our Surgical Technology program.  This is a part-time, professional position reporting directly to the Dean of Education.  The primary responsibility will be to teach Surgical Technology courses.   Applicants will also be expected to provide academic advising to students, and participate in department training, meetings, and graduation.   

 

Requirements 

• Completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program resulting in a Certificate of Completion or Diploma; an associate degree is required and can be in any discipline

• Certification:
  • NBSTSA - CST and/or
  • NCCT - TS-C

• At least three years of experience as a Surgical Technologist

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills 

• Highly organized, motivated, and results-driven 

• Prior higher education/postsecondary teaching experience preferred but not required
