Electronics Hardware Engineer Intern - High School

The Leidos Innovation Center currently has an opening for a Electronics Hardware Engineer (High School Intern) to work in our Huntsville AL office. This is an exciting opportunity to support new capabilities in GPS-denied navigation and threat detection.
The junior electronics hardware engineer position will focus on designing and building threat emulators to test Leidos detection systems. This position is intended for high school interns. This position will be fully on-site at least four hours a week in Huntsville, AL.
Primary Responsibilities:
Design and build threat emulators including:
Mechanical design
Circuit design
Micro-controller programming
Basic Qualifications:
Currently enrolled and pursuing a high school diploma at the senior level.
Strong high school academic record.
Prior experience with programming.
Preferred Qualifications
Micro-controller interfacing and programming.

Pay Range:
Pay Range $31,850.00 - $57,575.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
