As an Analyst, Commercial Loan Processing, you’ll be responsible for supporting many functions in regard to servicing commercial mortgage loans from loan origination to loan payoff.Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Reviews key loan documents and perform necessary due diligence to make sure information is accurate in the mortgage loan system for initial loan funding.
Updates mortgage loan system based upon modifications to existing loans and regular on-going loan updates.
Researches payment discrepancies working with Operations and/or Servicers to resolve issues.
Administers the monthly payments for Mezzanine & SOFR loans.
Follows up on outstanding Borrower and Servicer late charges.
Prepares/validates loan payoff documentation & process extra funds for disbursement.
Responsible for the coordination and/or actual imaging of loan documents.
Reviews legal binders for accuracy and works with law firms to obtain outstanding documents.
Handles all requests for paper storage of loan documents (Iron Mountain).
Assists in the testing process for the annual upgrade of the mortgage loan system and imaging system.
Performs correspondent audits to assure that proper processes are in place.
Assists with the annual review of property inspections to determine if there are physical issues with the property and perform follow up on deferred maintenance items.
May perform other responsibilities as assigned.
Reporting Relationships: Reports to Senior Investment Professional
Typical Skills and Experiences:
Education: Undergraduate studies in business, finance, or related field.
Experience: Three years of related experience in commercial real estate.
Knowledge, Abilities and Skills:
Ability to understand and interpret legal documents.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and other software as needed.
Self-starter, proactive, and demonstrate a high ability to learn on the fly.
High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
Other criteria, including leadership skills, competencies and experiences may take precedence.
Staffing exceptions to the above must be approved by the hiring manager’s leader and HR Business Partner.

Job Conditions:
Overtime Eligibility: Non-Exempt (Eligible)
Working Conditions: Normal office environment but does including lifting/moving boxes containing mortgage loan documents.
