<p><strong>Job Title:&nbsp;</strong>Ophthalmic Photographer</p> <p><strong>Company:</strong> Associated Retinal Consultants</p> <p><strong>Department:&nbsp;</strong>Ophthalmology</p> <p><strong>Supervisor Title:</strong> Clinic Manager<br><br><strong>Location:</strong> This position is located in Royal Oak, MI</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>SUMMARY</strong></p> <p>An&nbsp;<strong>Ophthalmic Photographer</strong> is a valuable asset to an Ophthalmologist as they assist in providing excellent patient care to the patients during their visit. &nbsp;This employee is able to handle a wide range of duties while using equipment to perform the initial testing needed to prepare a patient for an exam with an Ophthalmologist.&nbsp;<span data-contrast="auto">Ophthalmic Photographers use ophthalmic techniques to perform examination and work up of patients in a clinic setting and also directly provides Physician(s) with a physical, tangible product; a photograph of the highest quality possible which best documents and illustrates the patient’s pathology/anomaly.</span><strong><span data-contrast="auto"> </span></strong>&nbsp;<br><span data-ccp-props="{}">&nbsp;</span></p> <p><strong><span data-contrast="auto">ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES </span></strong><span data-ccp-props="{}">&nbsp;</span></p> <ul> <li><span data-contrast="auto">Color stereo Retinal Fundus photography and Serial Stereo Retinal Intravenous Fluorescein Angiography skills, including IV start up and dye administration.</span><strong><span data-contrast="auto"> </span></strong><span data-ccp-props="{}">&nbsp;</span></li> <li><span data-contrast="auto">External ocular photography and performs OCT on patients with speed and accuracy; may assist Physician(s) with treatments when needed.</span><strong><span data-contrast="auto"> </span></strong><span data-ccp-props="{}">&nbsp;</span></li> <li><span data-contrast="auto">Skilled in ophthalmic terminology, ability to type words accurately with speed and knowledge of Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system; may be required to Scribe for Physicians if needed. </span><strong><span data-contrast="auto"> </span></strong><span data-ccp-props="{}">&nbsp;</span></li> <li><span data-contrast="auto">Reviews patient’s past and current medical and ophthalmic history, including information rega
