Your Impact: As our Underwriting Expert at our dynamic and rapidly expanding company, you will help us shape next generation Insurtech products. Your seasoned expertise will help empower our team and help them build a brand new Disability Underwriting product. By leveraging your depth of knowledge, you'll play a key role in enhancing product excellence, refining strategies, and fostering collaborative relationships with stakeholders. Your contributions will directly influence the company's growth trajectory, reinforcing our commitment to innovation and customer-centric solutions within the insurance landscape.

Responsibilities:

• Be a strategic advisor of our new group Disability Underwriting product, which we will launch in the new year
• Use your Underwriting subject matter expertise to give product insight and feedback to our Product & Engineering teams.
• Interact with additional stakeholders across the organization as needed

Required Experience:

• 15+ plus years of Claims Underwriting experience 
• Ability to act as a  Claims Underwriting subject matter expert (SME) to our executive team. 
• Strong analytical and decision-making skills, with an ability to interpret complex details

 

Compensation & Perks: This is a long term contract role with an expectation of working hours to flux between 5-10 hours (or potentially more) per week depending on the needs of the business.
