Quality Assurance Inspector - Finishing

Pascagoula, MS

As the Quality Assurance Inspector for Rolls-Royce, you will service the needs of production to maintain schedule and process performance. This shall include in-process and final inspection of all product by means of Non Destructive Testing (NDT), and measurement.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Perform dimensional inspections and determine acceptability against standards or specifications utilizing FARO scanning and tracking equipment
  • Document and maintain required inspection records in accordance with company procedures
  • Provide supporting documentation for patterns and finished design
  • Report to department forepersons, results of in-process and final inspections
  • Review quality documentation for currency or relevance and update accordingly
  • Perform in-process audits on the foundry, finishing, and machining departments to ensure compliance with processes and policies
  • Prepare material review reports for Material Review Board disposition

Basic Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent and 3+ years experience in manufacturing and/or inspection
  • Knowledge and use of standard measuring and test equipment
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite products
  • Ability to travel for government or work related training classes.
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints 
  • In order to be considered for this opportunity, you must be eligible to obtain and maintain security clearance, which requires USA Citizenship

Preferred Requirements:

  • Finishing and Machine Shop background.
  • Laser Tracking/Scanning experience (FARO)
  • Knowledge of trigonometry
  • SAP knowledge
  • NDT experience
  • Active or current security clearance
