Responsibilities

• Lead a newly formed nearshore Acquisition Team in collaboration with the team’s Tech Lead.

• Act as a primary point of contact for U.S.-based Product Owners and Solutions Architects.

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to deeply understand their challenges and propose effective solutions.

• Maintain and prioritize the team’s backlog, balancing competing priorities to maximize value delivery.

• Oversee the execution of sprints and ensure alignment with business goals.

• Facilitate retrospectives to drive learning and adaptation.

• Contribute to the continuous improvement of agile practices and processes within the team.

Qualifications and Job Requirements

• 5+ years of work experience, with 3+ years as a product manager or product owner.

• A track record of increasing responsibility in product management.

• Highly effective at leading teams without authority.

• Experience developing and deploying features for a highly considered product or service.

• Know when and how to craft qualitative and quantitative feature tests

• Clear and concise written communication with proven ability to summarize large, complex, and conflicting data.

• Experience at a high-growth startup or within insurance or financial services is a plus.

• Strong understanding of agile principles and practices, with experience in managing backlogs, writing user stories, and facilitating sprints.

• Proficiency in agile tools and software (e.g., JIRA, Confluence).

• Familiarity with business analysis tools (e.g., Microsoft Excel, Visio) is advantageous.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a knack for identifying and resolving issues efficiently.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of articulating complex concepts clearly to various audiences.

• Meticulous attention to detail with the tenacity to pursue complex problems.
