As the Team Leader, you will report to Head of Engineering Poland and will be part of Engineering Poland Management team. You will have line manager responsibility for a team consisted of full stack developers, front-end developers, testers and UX designers, delivering application/platform/service development tasks in global data analytics development initiatives in close collaboration with other Engineering locations.

Areas of responsibility and key tasks:

  • Lead technical initiatives and mentor development teams
  • Architect, design, and implement scalable solutions based on .NET and Azure technologies
  • Ensure best practices in code quality, architecture, and software engineering standards
  • Conduct code reviews, provide technical expertise, and solve complex technical challenges
  • Be the point of contact for your unit and serve as an escalation point in case of issues related to your team
  • Line management responsibility for the unit (including performance dialogues, timecards/expenses approval, etc)
  • Recruitment of new personnel to the unit
  • Liaise with colleagues in other parts of organization to promote collaboration and knowledge sharing
  • Maintain good relationships with project stakeholders
  • Organize the unit to maximize delivery output and to provide an appropriate level of challenging tasks to ensure development of own employees and continuous competence building
  • Support resource planning and identify potential capacity issues

Qualifications/experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience with .NET, C#, and related frameworks
  • Strong experience in Microsoft Azure Platform and recommended practices in architecture
  • Experience with agile methodologies, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices
  • Strong proven record in designing and developing complicate solutions
  • Self-Driven, ambitious, dare to challenge the status quo and propose for improving
  • Keep learning latest solution development technology
  • Good understanding of performance management principles
