River Region Psychiatric Associates, www.rrpa.us, is the fastest growing private practice in the southeastern United States. We are currently looking for PMHNPs for Moberly, MO. This is a PRN opportunity for occasional weekend and incidental coverage in an IP setting. 

Requirements

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

• Must possess a minimum of a Master of Science in Nursing.
• Those six years are composed of a 4-year undergraduate nursing program followed by a 2-year nurse practitioner master's program that includes psychiatric nursing.
• Must have or pursuing a Mental Health Nurse Practitioner Certification from the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC).
• Most possess MO DEA or must be currently qualified to apply for a MO DEA

Prior experience in providing mental health counseling services within a clinical setting

• Must possess a State License to practice Nursing and it must be in good standing.
• Must possess the knowledge base in health promotion maintenance, advanced pathophysiology, advanced health assessment and pharmacology for advanced practice nurses.
• Must possess the following concepts: individual and family psychotherapy, psychiatric-mental health nursing across the lifespan, advanced assessment in psychiatric-mental health nursing and psychopharmacology.
