JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Staff Assistant performs traditional administrative functions to facilitate the efficient operation of the office. The Staff Assistant serves as the primary administrative support person for a large department or group of physicians
This position is primary support to multiple Division Directors in the OB/GYN Department and functions as part of the Administrative Team for other MD/faculty support. Will also work closely with and support the OB/GYN outpatient clinic with certain tasks. Could also work with our UVM partners to support faculty administrative tasks.
EDUCATION:
Must possess an Associate Degree or equivalent experience
EXPERIENCE:
Previous employment in an office environment sufficient to demonstrate advanced administrative support skills.
Additional skills: Looking for candidates who have experience and proficiency with Excel, Outlook and virtual programs such as Team and Zoom. Ability to manage multiple priorities and requests. The work of this role requires someone who is organized, proactive, can think critically and work independently. Experience in OB/GYN health care is helpful.
This position has the ability to work from home 1 day a week once orientation is complete.
