Deputy Chief Accountant

<p></p> We are seeking a <strong>Deputy Chief Accountant</strong> skills to join our <strong>YouGov Shopper</strong> finance team in Poland. This role will be responsible for managing financial operations, ensuring accuracy in reporting, and optimizing our accounting processes. <p><strong>You will:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Running accounting books, perform monthly and yearly closing – AR, AP and GL, FA – support and overseeing of SSC in India (daily cooperation with SSC team).</li> <li>Participation in the preparation of management report with variance analysis and audit schedule.</li> <li>Participation in preparation of Statutory Financial Statement.</li> <li>Preparation of VAT declarations for Polish legal entity.</li> <li>Preparation of GUS reports.</li> <li>Calculation of CIT for Polish legal entity.</li> <li>Reconciliation of general ledger accounts.</li> <li>Maintain Fixed Asset Register.</li> <li>Liaise with external parties such as: auditors, tax consultants, bankers, lawyers, government authorities and etc.</li> <li>Being pro-active in identifying risk areas and recommend  solutions to improve operating effectiveness.</li> <li>Any other ad-hoc assignment by management .</li> </ul> <p><strong>You have:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Minimum Bachelor’s Degree at Finance, Economics.</li> <li>At least 5 years working experience on independent Accountant position.</li> <li>Experience with cooperation with finance share service centre.</li> <li>Good knowledge in Polish taxation rules ( VAT, CIT, WHT)SAP knowledge at advanced level.</li> <li>Analytical and problem-solving skills.</li> <li>Computer literate in MS Excel, Word, Tagetik is preferable.</li> <li>English (writing and speaking) at very good level daily cooperation with SSC in India.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Preferred Qualifications:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Professional accounting qualification (e.g., CPA, ACCA).</li> <li>Experience in market research or data analytics industry.</li> <li> </li> </ul> <p><strong>We offer a hybrid working model for our colleagues</strong> (<em>normally x2 days per month in office for the colleagues outside Warsaw and 2 days per week for the colleagues located in Warsaw</em>) and competitive core benefits as well additional benefits including: </p> <ul> <li>Private medical care for the employee in Enelmed on the employee's requests.</li> <li>PPK (pension plan) subsided by the employer at the level of 2%.</li> <li>Access to group insurance on advantageously negotiated financial terms for employees of the company, along with subsidies from the employer (on the employee's request).</li> <li>Access to sports activities on favorable negotiated financial terms for the company's employees (MULTISPORT).</li> <li>The ability to use an extremely extensive training platform.</li> </ul> <p>All documents will be treated in the strictest confidentiality.</p> <p>Only short-listed candidates will be invited for an interview.</p> <p><strong>Please send your CV with following information clause:</strong></p> <p>Wyrażam zgodę na przetwarzanie moich danych osobowych dla potrzeb niezbędnych dla realizacji procesu rekrutacji zgodnie z art. 6 ust.1 lit. a ogólnego rozporządzenia Parlamentu Europejskiego i Rady (UE) o ochronie danych osobowych z dnia 27 kwietnia 2016 r.
