We are seeking a structure-minded full time intern to join our Global Operations Projects team. The candidate will play a crucial role in supporting a number of high impact operations projects through quantitative analysis, data-driven insights and the creation of innovative solutions to optimize our e-commerce and retail operations. As part of a cross-functional team, you will be expected to leverage data to inform the decision-making process in our core Global initiatives. This role requires a high level of ownership and involves: understanding and structuring ambiguous data sources, creating analytical reports, and monitoring the impact of our projects. We prioritize candidates with experience or interest in project management activities. 

What You'll Do

  • Collect, structure, analyze and interpret data to drive decisions on operational efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Develop and maintain analytic products, building simple analytical frameworks to monitor our projects.
  • Work with your operations project management team to prioritize business and information needs.
  • Conduct ad-hoc analyses, build dashboards, to drive business decisions.
  • Support project stakeholders in understanding data structures, troubleshooting data-related issues, and assist in the implementation of new solutions for them.
  • Support the project manager in stakeholder management, project planning and reporting activities for your workstreams.

What You'll Bring 

  • Bachelor's degree in Business/Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science or related quantitative field. Master’s degree preferred but not required. 
  • Capability to develop end-to-end analytics and reporting solutions. Ability to structure problems an ambiguous environment, leveraging data from a multitude of sources and summarizing them into easy-to-understand reports
  • Strong analytical capabilities with attention to detail, being enthusiastic about teamwork and collaboration across the whole company
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English 
  • Good to have: Strong Excel/Google Sheets skills, SQL skills (familiarity with GBQ or MsSQL Server is a plus), Tableau, Google Looker Studio or Power BI, Kronos or other scheduling software
  • Previous experience in project management functions in retail/e commerce industry, management consulting, startups, tech and/or financial emphasis is preferred but NOT required
