Experian Marketing Services (EMS) is seeking an experienced Product Manager to drive the strategy for their online identity resolution products across the AdTech and MarTech ecosystem. The candidate will be responsible for defining and executing product strategy, understanding market needs, creating customer-centric requirements and roadmaps, maintaining competitive analysis, influencing product development, and driving marketing programs with the support of the marketing team. The candidate will have a strong drive for results, interpersonal skills, positive attitude and is comfortable coordinating with cross-functional teams. The candidate must have a high sense of urgency, be self-motivated, can work under minimal supervision, and can troubleshoot complex problems and escalate.

What you'll be doing
- Assess market needs related to identity and evaluate how Experian Online and Offline Identity Resolution products can support consumer marketing efforts in the AdTech and MarTech landscape
- Define appropriate product strategies for Experian’s online and offline identity resolution products and propositions across sales channels and vertical markets related to identity resolution services
- Manage the product roadmap, pricing, go-to-market (GTM) strategy, and VOCs for our online identity products and services
- Size the markets for your products and report regularly on the competitive landscape. Determine market potential and revenue opportunities
- Work with product owners and technical development teams, and drive the delivery of product roadmaps for new products and major product enhancements
- Capture the voice of the customer and create competitive differentiation and compelling positioning in the market, including an understanding of the competitive landscape
- Drive innovation projects and partner with the Experian Strategy, Data Science and development teams to test new MVPs that solve market problems
- Work cross-functionally with other internal Experian business units and product management teams to ensure products are positioned in alignment with Experian capabilities and platforms
- Manage training of internal Experian stakeholders in the value that products deliver in the market
- Ensure enablement of sales teams by developing or working with Marketing and/or Product Marketing to create internal and market-facing product collateral and other external materials
- Cultivate external relationships with clients, third parties and consumers to drive product adoption
- Engage in various trade association working groups within the data driven marketing ecosystem (ie: IAB, DMA, etc.) to represent Experian
- Engage with key analysts that cover the space where Experian Marketing Services operates (ie: Gartner, Forrester, etc.)
- Travel will be required about 10% of time
Qualifications
What your background looks like
- 5+ years of consumer marketing experience with a strong understanding of identity
- 3+ years of demonstrated product management experience, working both internally to drive delivery on roadmaps, and externally to evaluate and drive partnerships that advance product strategy
- Strong domain knowledge and technical experience in the Ad-Tech/Mar-Tech space
- Solid understanding of 1st Party/CRM customer data management principles, including knowledge of foundational data quality, USPS® address hygiene, and persistent identity profile linkage
- Solid understanding of various types of customer data management platforms that house and maintain 1st Party CRM/customer data
- Excellent client-facing presentation skills
- A metrics-driven approach to product management
- High sense of urgency and ability to work well in and navigate a matrix environment
- Can formulate ways to overcome obstacles, fight for our products’ success in market, and own the path forward on both existing and new products
- Ability to explain complex concepts in simple terms to a variety of internal and external audiences
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience required
