Ferguson is currently seeking the right individual to fill an immediate need for a Waterworks Product Specialist. This position will focus on Waterworks Projects and ongoing support. In this role, you will work closely with the Sales team in our Eastern Washington and North Idaho territory to provide technical product expertise, sales support, and training functions to existing and new customers.

Responsibilities

• Handle all documentation from meetings, projects, schedules, data requests and assignments

• Perform training to internal and external customers on operation, theory, and troubleshooting of Waterworks products

• Provide technical product support and troubleshoot as needed with field technicians, customers and vendors

• Assists in creating detailed project schedule for all sites involved in projects

• Work close with field outside sales teams and train to be a succession plan for these teams.

• Organize, schedule and attend project meetings in-person or via conference call

• Attend lunch and learns, trade shows, engineer presentation and conferences to promote products and develop customer relationships.

• Attend jobsite visits to contribute to customer and vendor on installation

Qualifications

• 3 + years experience in the Waterworks industry, such as installation, sales, inside sales, or related product knowledge, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience

• Strong computer proficiency including use of Microsoft applications and navigating multiple software systems, required

• Basic reporting experience using Excel, including sorting, filtering and data compilation, required

• Demonstrated relationship building, customer service and interpersonal skills, required

• Ability to be flexible, adaptable and multitasking skills needed, including the ability to juggle multiple, urgent requests

• Excellent interpersonal skills, including written and oral communication skills and the ability to communicate ideas in both technical and user-friendly language

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strong organizational skills

• Ability to build PowerPoint presentations and coordinate, facilitate, and lead in-person and remote training sessions, needed

• Ability to travel within the required territory (Up to 50%), required

Pay Range:

$4,124.70 - $9,075.00

Estimated Ranges displayed are Monthly for Salaried roles OR Hourly for all other roles.

This role is Bonus or Incentive Plan eligible.
