THE ORGANIZATION

Alta California Regional Center (ACRC) is a non-profit agency under contract to the State of California and for 50 years has provided the coordination of services to individuals with developmental disabilities. ACRC employs approximately 700 persons working out of eight offices in a ten-county area. ACRC is one of 21 Regional Centers in California.

THE POSITION AND JOB SUMMARY

ACRC is seeking a Client Services Manager to provide management and oversight of the Self-Determination Unit, in our which serves to provide consultative and technical support to ACRC case management units, community outreach, and training related to services and supports provided via the Self Determination Program.  Incumbents will remain in their designated office location and provide support to case management units for Lanterman eligible SDP clients throughout ACRC’s catchment area. Typical duties include educating ACRC Staff, clients, their families, and community members about the Self-Determination Program and Person Centered Planning, supporting case management units as they help clients and their families in acquiring and maintaining assessed supports and services including transportation, vocational training, day programming, education, mental health services, medical care, and independent living training; consulting with and assisting vendors with certifications, applications, and referrals; consultation regarding the development of SDP budgets and spending plans for Individual Program Plans for clients; providing consultation for monitoring these plans and revising them as necessary; Providing guidance to case management units on how to complete all required forms, documentation, and reports in accordance with regulations and ACRC policies and procedures; rotating officer-of-the-day duties with other Client Services Managers; assisting co-workers with special projects, unique problems, vacation, and sick relief; and providing emergency on-call services when required. COMPENSATION

We adhere to a Ten-step salary structure, determined by a combination of educational attainment and professional experience.

$35.81 - $45.73/hour equivalent to $74,484.80 - $95118.40 annually

Requirements

Applicants must possess a Master’s degree and have three years of experience in a human service (or related) agency, preferably in the field of developmental disabilities OR a Bachelor’s degree and have 5 years of experience in a human service (or related) agency, preferably in the field of developmental disabilities; ability to interpret and apply relevant laws, regulations, requirements and policy standards; demonstrate excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communications skills; and have strong time-management and organization skills.
