Job Summary: Knik is looking for a Construction Equipment Operator
Responsibilities:
• Operate heavy equipment with utmost safety to prevent any incidents.
• Perform regular safety and maintenance checks.
• Ensure equipment is safely stored after use.
• Adhere to all company safety protocols.
• Regularly clean equipment.
• Coordinate with the maintenance department for any required repairs or routine maintenance.
• Coordinate with Project Superintendent /Engineer to align materials, equipment, and inspections for timely project execution.
• Engage with Quality Control teams to ensure adherence to project specifications.
• Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
• Minimum two years of equipment operating experience in construction settings.
• Comprehensive understanding of heavy construction machinery.
• Proactive decision-making capabilities.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-production environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• High emphasis on quality of work.
• Adaptable to varying schedules and job locations as per contract requirements.
• Must pass a pre-hire drug test.
• A current CDL is preferred.
