Preceptor for NDFS 4710

Overview

This position is responsible for supporting the instruction and experiential learning components of foodservice management courses in the didactic program in dietetics at Utah State University. This role involves assisting with course preparation, providing student feedback and guidance and mentoring students while fostering leadership development.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing course materials, grading assignments, and managing online learning platforms.
• Facilitate small group discussions, labs, or review sessions.
• Provide feedback and guidance to students on academic and professional development.
• Evaluate student performance and provide constructive feedback.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or related field.
• Credentialed as a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN).
• Previous experience in teaching, mentoring, or precepting preferred.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
