The Role at a Glance

As a Specialist, Financial Analysis, you will prepare, analyze and report more complex financial information and provide management with a more complex financial perspective. You will consult, analyze, and deliver on more complex assignments and projects. You will also act as a resource to applicable internal and external stakeholders.

What you'll be doing

•    Prepare, analyze and report on more complex financial information
•    Responsible for updating/maintaining financial forecasts and related modeling
•    Identify and recommend process improvements that significantly reduce workloads or improve quality
•    Evaluate financial information to develop and deliver more complex standard, and ad-hoc financial analysis
•    Provide management with a more complex financial perspective
•    Consults/Analyze on more complex assignments and/or projects
•    Maintain knowledge on current and emerging developments/trends, assess the impact, and collaborate with management to incorporate new trends and developments in current and future solutions
•    Provide support to the financial analysis team in the preparation and delivery the analysis of financial information including more complex financial analysis
•    Identify financial analysis issues/concerns and recommend mitigation solution(s) to management
•    Champion and enhance organizational initiatives by positively influencing and supporting change management and/or departmental/enterprise initiatives

What we’re looking for

Must-haves:
•    4 Year/Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (4 years of experience in lieu of Bachelor's)
•    1 - 3+ Years experience in financial analysis and/or Retirement Plan Services
•    Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
•    Demonstrates the ability to use sound judgment and discretion regarding confidential information
•    Demonstrated strong relationship management skills with internal clients (e.g. management, peers and colleagues); proven ability to develop collaborative approaches
•    Demonstrates ability to identify and recommend process improvements
•    Strong project management skills including, critical ability to coordinate and balance multiple projects in a time-sensitive environment, under pressure, and meeting deadlines 

Nice-to-have:
•    Experience with financial modeling
•    Experience with Anaplan
•    Experience with SQL and Dataiku
•    Proficiency with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
•    Experience with Risk Base Capital (RBC)

The pay range for this position is $55,700 - $100,200 with anticipated pay for new hires between the minimum and midpoint of the range and could vary above and below the listed range as permitted by applicable law.
