UI/UX Researcher - Agentic AI

Job Overview:

Designs and implements user interfaces, including graphics, typography, animation, and user centric functionality; performs development and maintenance programming for user interfaces powered by Large Language Models and Agentic systems. Performs usability testing; and enhances user satisfaction and interaction with applications and content. Leads or performs complex design of online products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct user research to gather insights on user needs, behaviors, and pain points.
• Develop user personas, journey maps, and other research artifacts to inform design decisions.
• Collaborate with designers and product managers to translate research findings into actionable design recommendations.
• Plan and conduct usability testing to evaluate the effectiveness of AI solutions.
• Analyze and synthesize research data to generate insights and inform product strategy.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in UI/UX research methodologies and AI technologies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, Design, or a related field.
• Proven experience in conducting user research and usability testing.
• Proficiency in qualitative and quantitative research methods.
• Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and practices.
• Experience with research tools and software (e.g., User Testing, Optimal Workshop, SPSS).
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.

Desired Skills:

• Experience with AI or machine learning projects.
• Knowledge of UI/UX design tools (e.g., Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD).
• Familiarity with data visualization techniques and tools.
• Certification in UX research or design.
• Previous experience in a research role within a tech or AI-focused company.

The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $98,500.00 - $274,400.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
