Great Start Readiness Teacher - Geiger Early Childhood Center

Start Date:                2026 - 2027 School Year
Posting Period:        June 15, 2026 - Until Filled
Salary:                      Contracted through PCMI
 

Qualifications:
? Must have or be working towards one of the following: Michigan Teaching Certification with Early 
Childhood Endorsement or Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood
? Must clear all state and federal fingerprinting standards for working with children
? Certification in CPR and First Aid
? Experience with the Creative Curriculum is preferred
? Commitment to maintaining the confidentiality of all information
? Proficiency with oral and written communication
? Effective planning and organizational abilities
? Experience working with families and children with varying needs

Responsibilities:
? Planning and delivering developmentally appropriate lessons and activities.
? Creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment.
? Assessing children's growth and developmental progress.
? Maintaining required documentation and records.
? Implementing the approved early childhood curriculum.
? Collaborating with assistant teachers and support staff.
? Communicating regularly with families and involving parents in their child's education.
? Ensuring compliance with GSRP, licensing, and standards
? Maintain state licensing requirements for the center, including files, posted items, and records
? Other duties assigned by the director
