Mainframe z/OS Specialist

This team will be responsible for developing and maintaining solutions in complex environments, ensuring system performance and stability.</p><p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Develop and maintain JCL scripts and Icetool utilities.</li><li>Work with IFPF and REXX for process automation and optimization.</li><li>Manage and monitor workloads using TWS and SDSF.</li><li>COBOL programming for application development and maintenance.</li><li>Work with DB2 databases, including queries and optimization.</li><li>Operate in Software AG environments, utilizing Natural, Adabas, and Natural-DB2.</li><li>Implement solutions with webMethods EntireX for system integration.</li><li>Develop and maintain applications using NaturalOne from Software AG.</li><li>Ensure code quality and adherence to best development practices.</li><li>Communicate with international teams for requirement alignment and deliverables.</li></ul><p> </p><h3>Qualifications</h3><ul><li>Proven experience in Mainframe z/OS system development and maintenance.</li><li>Proficiency in JCL and Icetool.</li><li>Strong knowledge of IFPF and REXX.</li><li>Experience with TWS and SDSF.</li><li>COBOL programming expertise.</li><li>Knowledge of DB2 databases.</li><li>Experience in Software AG environments, including Natural, Adabas, Natural-DB2, and webMethods EntireX.</li><li>Familiarity with NaturalOne from Software AG.</li><li>Fluency in English (mandatory).</li><li>Availability for remote work, with possible sporadic travel to Europe at the beginning of the project.</li></ul>
