Description

Radiology Ltd. is seeking a part time Patient Quality Coordinator. This position is fully remote and provides flexible hours. The Patient Quality Coordinator is responsible for supporting and enhancing the quality and performance improvement initiatives within Radiology Ltd.  This role works closely with physicians, technologists, and administrative staff to ensure high standards of patient care, and continuous quality improvement.  A key responsibility of the position is coordinating and facilitating the physician peer review process to promote best practices and ensure the delivery of high-quality imaging services.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and manage physician peer review processes, including scheduling reviews, preparing case materials, and documenting outcomes
  • Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff, ensuring adherence to clinical quality and safety standards
  • Lead efforts to address identified quality issues by collaborating with physicians to develop and implement corrective action plans
  • Serve as a liaison between physicians, administration, hospital/referral partners, and clinical departments on quality-related matters
  • Participate in and contribute to committees focused on quality, safety, risk, and patient experience
  • Assist in managing risk management activities, including documenting incident reports and notices of potential claims
  • Conduct reviews, investigations, and follow-ups of significant safety events
  • Support clinical safety initiatives, OSHA clinical compliance, infection prevention, safe medical device reporting, response to recalls/alerts, and safety improvement activities
  • Implement, coordinate, track, and analyze Radiologist Peer Review/Peer Learning and variance reporting activities
  • Completes other tasks and projects as assigned

Qualifications

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, , Nursing, or related field.  Equivalent work experience will be considered
  • Minimum of 3 years in healthcare quality management role, preferably in an outpatient imaging or radiology setting.  Experience coordinating physician peer reviews is preferred
  • Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) is preferred, but not required
