The Staff Accountant plays a pivotal role in the day-to-day operations at Stage 3 Separation that provides support and information to all departments within the company. You will be responsible for ensuring accurate documentation of all financial transactions within Stage 3. As senior accountant you will work closely with our supply chain and purchasing teams to maintain accurate inventory counts and pricing agreements with key vendors. You will be responsible for overseeing all invoices received by Stage 3 and make sure they are coded and entered correctly. You will assist with the preparation of financial reports for both internal and external stakeholders.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
· Reconciliation of balance sheet accounts
· Customer contract management
· Customer Invoicing
· Customer Invoice Submission
· Financial Statement review
· Preparation of financial reports
· Inventory reconciliation
· Act as a liaison for all internal and customer audits
· Ensure compliance with vendor pricing agreements
· Review AP invoices and POs for accurate coding
· Develop and maintain accurate processes
Requirements
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
· Understanding of financial statements
· Understanding of the accounting cycle
· Microsoft Excel – Advanced user
· Microsoft office suite
· Microsoft Dynamics 365
· SAP Ariba
· OpenInvoice
· Ability to locate research and correct discrepancies as needed
· Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
· 2+ years of previous general ledger accounting experience – Oil and Gas experience is a plus
