About the role

The Role:

 As a Sr. Cloud Architect you will be responsible for leading our NEXiA (Cloud and on-premise Software application) and driving our security people, process, and product initiatives forward. The ideal candidate will have an expert understanding of all aspects of Cybersecurity, and Information security Industry best practices as well as Microsoft CAF. You will be responsible for setting the strategy of the team, prioritizing proactive defenses, and continuously testing and evolving our security posture to emerging security threats.

 This is a leadership role with the iA Software organization tasked with designing, implementing, and constantly improving the NEXiA security protocols platform infrastructure, working across SaaS and DaaS applications, on-premise software, IOT device interfaces, and collaborating closely with our customer’s infosec organizations. This includes working cross functionally in collaboration with iA organizations like Compliance, Legal, and our internal IT business system security teams. As well as leading the modernization of existing cloud infrastructure to operate and scale using Microsoft Best Practices.

 iA works with advanced clients from the Retail Pharmacy to Central Fill Pharmacy store market segments, thus we need a candidate with exceptionally strong technical capabilities, a versatile and passionate individual eager to be an advisor in the early customer software\infosec security requirements, technical evaluations, and help design the implementation and security architecture (both infrastructure and software design) that fits the client´s bill. There is also a significant creative opportunity within the role, collaborating with the customer, developers, and all iA cross functional teams.

 

What you’ll do: 

  • Quickly grasp technical client software security and data privacy requirements and articulate a matching Cloud or on-premise solution architecture based on IA product portfolio, in writing, online or during face to face meeting (including technical discovery workshops and demos).
  • Work directly with NEXiA application software engineers to implement cloud security controls and threat protection; manage identity and access; and protect data, applications, and networks in cloud and hybrid environments as part of end-to-end infrastructure.
  • Executive Level Communication external with customer security officers and internally with C-Suite members
  • Your work will cover all parts of securing the software development lifecycle, and it will be tailored to the needs of the organization, always striving to improve the security properties and attributes of our applications and production systems.
  • Partner with Product Management and Customer Success organizations to assure long term alignment with market security best practice
  • Familiarity with enterprise security principles and best practices, including a working knowledge of endpoint security, network security, and supply chain risk management, to name a few.
  • Serve as a key resource to support the investigation of system anomalies 
  • Lead the modernization of existing cloud infrastructure to operate and scale using Microsoft Best Practices.
  • Implement cost efficiency models in cloud spend.


*Some travel activity within the US must be anticipated, occasionally on short notice.

 Working environment

 You will be a member of the is software engineering organization, working closely with colleagues in Compliance, Product Management, Software Architects, IT, and Customer Success.

Experience in the above will be valued but the most important factor is that you have the theoretical background and possess the potential to be a great Sr. Cloud Data Security Engineer at iA. This implies you are a self-learner, pragmatic leader, and eager to continuously stay on top of technical trends of cloud, security frameworks (NIST, FedRAMP, etc), and executive communication.

  Who you are:

  • Familiarity with enterprise security principles and best practices, including a working knowledge of endpoint security, network security, and supply chain risk management, to name a few.
  • College Degree preferred 
  • Demonstrated root cause analysis and fault tree diagram experience  
  • Must possess good data analysis and interpretation skills
  • Expert level Azure Cloud Experience using landing zones and automation technologies.
  • Expert level Azure Cloud Networking experience as well as proficiency managing:
    • Azure Firewall
    • Web Application Firewall
    • Application Gateway
    • API Management
    • Virtual WAN
    • Secure WAN Hub
