A DAY IN THE LIFE of an Associate Manager, Talent Acquisition-Automotive Services

The Auto Club Group is seeking a prospective Associate Manager, Talent Acquisition who can lead a team of recruiters with accountability for team coaching and development, driving performance based on defined metrics, and helping the business deliver on growth plans.

  • Operates across respective client areas with numerous stakeholders, while demonstrating decision making and critical thinking.
  • Monitor and drive the effectiveness of all recruiting efforts, with specific attention paid to the continued flow of candidates through the recruiting funnel.
  • Directs implementation of new programs and initiatives, while directing the work of others and leading a team.
  • Support an environment that fosters accountability, innovation, engagement, and ownership of individual and team results.
  • Work closely with the Talent Acquisition Managers and peers to support an effective Talent Acquisition infrastructure in doing the important work of sustaining ACG’s growth.
  • Help to create and implement recruiting processes and strategies that emphasize quality and speed of hires to support business growth.
  • In partnership with the TA Managers, develop team members to ensure that each member is fully trained, understands expectations and achieves operational excellence.
  • Hold team accountable for established Key Performance Indicators.
  • Ensure compliance with company policy and government regulations regarding selection and hiring procedures.
  • Ensure accurate and timely processing and completion of records and reports related to applicant tracking, employment trends, etc.
  • Maintain ongoing industry knowledge.
  • Enhance competencies and experience necessary to continue professional development in this field.
  • Supervisory Responsibilities to include:
    • Assist or participate in the process to select, hire, train, develop, counsel, and discipline assigned staff in accordance with corporate and Human Resource policies and procedures.
    • Manage a team of professional and clerical staff responsible for talent acquisition and recruiting activities.

WE ARE LOOKING FOR CANDIDATES WHO

Required Qualifications:

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Human Resources Management or related field or equivalent work experience.

Work experience

  • Five+ years of successful recruiting experience to include:
    • Two years in roles which involve training employees in Recruiting
  • Demonstrated strong people management skills, that includes coaching and development
  • Demonstrated success in leading and executing searches for talent.
  • Served as a consultative partner to business leaders and HR COE’s to build and maintain positive relationships while driving TA initiatives.
  • Optimized technology and tools to provide enhanced consulting and client services, utilize analytics to operationalize, influence and support decision making across TA.

Management ability to include:

  • Workforce management
  • Organizing and planning
  • Strong problem solving and interpersonal skills
  • Coordinating and leading small-to-medium sized projects
