JOB SUMMARY
The Clinical Simulation Department, located at the IHS campus in Nutley, NJ, is accepting applications for a part-time student worker for summer 2026. This is an in-person job and requires attendance at Nutley, NJ. The work schedule aligns with scheduled simulation experiences for summer sessions. On average, student workers can expect to be on campus, 20 hours per week
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide support to the SHMS Clinical Simulation. This support may entail assignments including, but not limited to:
• Assisting in preparation of paperwork, cross walking activity data, dry run/trouble shooting activity flow, and assuring documents are accurate.
• Assisting during simulation experiences by supporting team tasks, set-up, clean-up, and student/faculty engagement.
• Conducting literature research and reviews related to simulation activity design and practices.
• Facilitating data collection, formulating an analysis, and developing a summary overview after the experiences.
• Maintaining research consent process.
• Manage research data process for faculty research projects.
• Contribute to improvement process and team meetings.
• Participate in restocking labs/simulation equipment, and preparation of simulation spaces.
• Attend donor events, student recruitment activities, and assist with public relations activities that are forward facing the community at large.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
��� In good standing as a student at Seton Hall University.
• Be proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
• Have excellent organizational skills
• Be a self-starter and comfortable with initiating projects
• Flexible and adaptable to a changing work environment
• Be friendly, yet professional, representing self in an upstanding manner
Must be enrolled in a matriculated program and registered at least half-time for Fall 2026
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Healthcare Simulation Knowledge Preferred
• Literature Review Searches Preferred
• Project Management Experience Preferred
• Healthcare clinical experience Preferred.
SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS
Summer hours May 21, 2026 to August 21, 2026
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Ability to push a wheeled cart, lift a manikin, and walk approximately 10,000 steps throughout the day.
