Overview/ Job Responsibilities
Sev1Tech is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to join our mission in providing best-in-class security, infrastructure, and technology managed services in the Denver area.
Automate IP address reservations using ServiceNow and Ansible integrated with Infoblox
Develop and implement Ansible playbooks for Palo Alto firewall upgrades
Orchestrate Zscaler URL and port checks using Ansible automation
Perform switch IOS patching and upgrades through Ansible and Cisco DNAC integration
Execute pre- and post-upgrade validation checks on Cisco infrastructure (DNAC/Ansible)
Manage VLAN changes via DNAC with Ansible-based orchestration
Provision and upgrade Cisco C1000 switches using automated Ansible workflows
Identify and clear unused hardware assets in Zscaler to support tech operations
Maintain system compliance through CIS baselining and drift control monitoring
Conduct SSH availability checks into Opengear for remote access and SolarWinds monitoring
Salary: $145,000 - $155,000 DOE
Minimum Qualifications
- Proficiency in Ansible for network orchestration and automation
- Must be clearable for Security Clearance
